My name is Javier Leon. I´m a visual effects artist and I live in Spain with my wife and my lovely two daughters. I´m starting this blog to put together some of the work I´ve been doing during all this years.
I started my career 15 years ago as a graphic artist working for Cadiz University. When I was there I leaded the art department at Interdis, an investigation group that made Multimedia Software focusing on technical english and welding techniques.
After that i joined Cesiga, S.A., a software company in Pontevedra, in the north of Spain, as Director of the Multimedia Department.
Then I moved to the games industry, working on games like Commandos 2, Galleon, and Worms. I´m quite proud that the Worms franchise still uses the logo I designed 8 years ago.

Enhorabuena por tu trabajo, realmente impresionante.
He leído recientemente tu entrevista en andaluciainformacion.es, en la que comentas que trabajaste para SEGA y el Sonic Team ¿Podrías concretar más? Soy el webmaster de SEGArcadia.com, un blog dedicado a SEGA, y me interesaría conocer algo más de esa faceta tuya.

Con Sega hice las imagenes de promocion del Worms 3D, y Worms Forts, incluyendo logos, portadas del juego y portadas de revista, entre ellas la edicion inglesa de la EDGE.
Tambien con Sega y para el Sonic Team hice las imagenes de promocion del juego Sonic Knuckles, Shadow the Hedgehog.
